NURSERY RETAIL SALES – POSITION DETAILS

JOB TITLE: Nursery Retail Sales

HOURS: Part-Time (Possible Full-Time Opportunity)

SCOPE OF POSITION:

Desert Foothills Gardens is seeking an individual interested in retail sales of cactus, succulent, pottery, glass, metal art, rocks, and other garden supplies. This position could evolve into full-time employment!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Watering cactus and succulents in the retail sales area following a schedule, stocking, weeding
  • Interacting with retail and wholesale customers and providing recommendations,
  • Writing up sales, operating credit card machines and cash drawers

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Math aptitude to balance end-of-day report
  • Previous nursery experience desired
  • Promptness, reliability, self-starter

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs of cactus, soil, and other nursery materials for customers
  • Must be able to work outdoors in a hot environment
